Church Vision

“A church that becomes a way on this land together with Jesus”

A church that becomes a way on this land together with Jesus

01
With Jesus

Who is the owner of Manila Korean United Church?

“I will build my church on this rock”

Matthew 16:18

Because Manila Korean United Church clearly confesses Jesus as the owner of the church, we do our best to offer worship with His holy presence to serve the Triune God, and we regard fulfilling Jesus' vision as the clear purpose of the church.

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called”

Ephesians 4:4

Manila Korean United Church is a community formed by the calling of the unique Creator God. It is a community of members constituting the body of Jesus, the unique Savior. It is a living community with the work of the Holy Spirit who makes us one.

02
Together

How will we achieve the vision of Jesus?

“I am with you always, to the very end of the age”

Matthew 28:20

Manila Korean United Church is awake and praying to fulfill the Great Commission given directly by Jesus to the church and disciples. This is because we are convinced that only when Jesus does it will God be glorified.

03
On This Land

What kind of land is this where Manila Korean United Church stands?

“I will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul”

Jeremiah 32:41

Manila Korean United Church confesses that this land of the Philippines where we stand is the first priority land of vision, so we do our best in the ministry of planting and serving the Korean immigrant community and the Filipino people. And we lift our eyes to embrace ASEAN and all nations as the land of vision.

04
Becoming a Way

What is the role we must undertake?

“Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway!”

Isaiah 62:10

Since its founding in 1974, Manila Korean United Church has been a channel of blessing responding to the requests of the times. In the future, all souls, especially the Korean next generation, multicultural families, and the next generation spiritual and social leaders of the Philippines, will be the way to proceed towards Jesus' vision.

05
Church

What is the mission of Manila Korean United Church?

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you... and you will be my witnesses”

Acts 1:8

Because Manila Korean United Church knows the will of God who wants to save the world, we willingly fulfill the mission of a missional church that does its best for the evangelization of local and global communities.
