GCA Korean School is a weekend Korean educational institution affiliated with the Korean United Church of Manila. It is a loving learning place that teaches Korean culture and language upon a biblical worldview to build the Christian identity of the next generation of Korean children.
GCA 3 Core Educational Goals
Faith Education Fearing God
Through a curriculum based on a biblical worldview, we nurture global leaders of faith who emulate God's character, are mature, and know how to serve their neighbors.
Establishing Korean Identity
We provide systematic Korean language learning and Korean history/culture education to children of overseas Koreans residing in the Philippines, establishing the proud roots of Koreans.
Creative Special Activities
We develop a sense of community cooperation and creative sensitivity through various events such as traditional play experiences, Korean writing contests, and book report writing contests.
Class Composition & Curriculum
Preschool Course (Ages 4 ~ 5)
Play-based education focused on listening and speaking Korean, fun first steps in Korean, and basic cultural acquisition through songs and rhythms.
Elementary Course (Grades 1 ~ 6)
Integrated Korean language learning (speaking, listening, reading, writing), reading guidance, and studying Korean historical figures and culture.
Middle & High School Course (Grades 7 ~ 12)
In-depth vocabulary learning, logical Korean composition, current affairs discussions, and biblical leadership education through learning Korean history.
